Recent Projects:

  • JustNetbooks.com (www.JustNetbooks.com) - Recognized the potential of an emerging class of notebook computers (Netbooks). Designed and built JustNetbooks.com, an e-commerce website focused exclusively on selling Netbook computers and accessories. The site was built using the Associate-O-Matic e-commerce platform with an integrated opt-in mailing list for availability alerts that was developed using Dada Mail. This is an affiliate site whereby Amazon.com processes and ships orders generated by the site. Site traffic is generated using paid search advertising on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Analytics is tracked using Google Analytics. Currently experiencing click through rates of 2%, Conversion Rates of 20%, and generating sales in excess of $95,000 per month.
  • Aegis Private Jet Charter, LLC(www.AegisPrivateJetCharter.com) - Conceived Aegis as a test bed to evaluate paid search marketing as a lead generation tool for Private Air Charter. Responsible for all aspects of website development and paid search campaign implementation using Google, Yahoo, MSN, Business.com, and 7Search. Wrote all ad and website copy. Analytics was tracked using Google Analytics. Website was optimized with Google Website Optimizer. Achieved click through rates of 4%, conversion rates of 9%, and generated over $1 Million in quote requests.
  • Nyack Boat Club (www.NyackBoatClub.org) - Chairman of the Nyack Boat Club Website Committee. Leading a team of qualified club members through the development of a database driven website using the Joomla Open Source Content Management platform and the DB Query component to implement a full featured membership management system that will track members, fleets, boats, and work assignments.
  • Design By Natasha (www.DesignByNatasha.com) - Contracted to build a conversion focused lead generation website for dance fashion designer Natasha Russu. Responsible for all aspects of website development and paid search campaign implementation. Wrote all ad and website copy.
  • Atlantic Aviation, Voyager Group LP, PrivatAir - Developed custom reports with Report Writer that used data from proprietary databases within CTA/FOS and FlightPak Aircraft Charter Quoting and Scheduling software packages.

Director, Aircraft Availability Information Systems: Bombardier Skyjet, Washington, DC (2001-2002)

Directed developers in India, Hungary, and the United States through the process of integrating Air Charter Online technologies into the Bombardier Skyjet system.

Chief Executive Officer: Air Charter Online, LLC, Mahwah, New Jersey (1995-2001)

Founded Air Charter Online, LLC in 1995 with the long term goal of building the worlds first On-Demand Air Charter Reservation System. Successfully designed and built the core component of this system, the world's first real time Air Charter Availability Database. An aggressive sales and marketing effort built participation to over 200 Operators and Brokers representing over 1000 aircraft. Managed all aspects of the business including Strategy, Funding, HR, Product Development, and Marketing.

  • Raised $2 Million in venture capital funding from Accretive LLC.
  • Successfully negotiated an endorsement agreement with Executive Jet Aviation (EJA), the largest air charter buyer in the world. Under this agreement EJA formally endorsed Air Charter Online as their source for air charter availability data.
  • Successfully negotiated data access agreements with Bombardier Skyjet, Gulfstream Charter Services, MyJets, and eJets. These companies used electronic access to the Air Charter Online availability database to power their online Air Charter Reservation Systems.
  • Successfully negotiated the sale of Air Charter Online to Bombardier Skyjet in January, 2001. Directed developers in India, Hungary, and the United States through the process of integrating Air Charter Online technologies into the Skyjet system.

Private Air Charter Sales Representative: K-C Aviation, Montvale, New Jersey, (1992-1995)

Responsible for aircraft charter sales, account development, and customer service for new and established clients. Assumed full responsibility for every detail of each charter from the initial quote through price negotiation, credit approval, the arrangement of catering and ground transportation through the completion of the trip. In general responsible for delivering the best charter experience possible to the client. Additional responsibilities included block contract negotiation, price discounting; vendor selection, vendor qualification, vendor cost negotiation, personal client visits, and meet and greet service for local departures and arrivals.

Private Air Charter Sales Representative: Million Air Charter, Teterboro, New Jersey (1990-1992)

Assumed full responsibility for all aircraft charter sales and administration activities. Responsibilities included charter quoting/inside sales, block contract negotiation, price discounting; vendor selection, vendor qualification, vendor cost negotiation, credit approval, billing, accounts receivable, collections, aircraft management proposal preparation, charter and management customer relations, aircraft dispatch and office procedure design and implementation.

Member of Technical Staff: TRW, Redondo Beach, California, (1980-1990)

Assumed full design responsibility for critical spacecraft communication components. Coordinated the activities of all engineering and procurement disciplines. Directed the activities of engineers and technicians during hardware and test software development. Prepared and presented design reviews. Wrote and released test procedures and component specifications.

Owner, Manager, Helmsman, and Tactician: Team Tango Racing, Nyack, New York, (2004-2008)

Managed all aspects of Team Tango's Melges 24 racing campaign including boat acquisition, maintenance, scheduling, team building, training, regatta logistics, and transportation. Team Tango has competed in numerous high level Melges 24 regattas including Key West Race Week, North American Championships, and the 2005 World Championships.
